Dr Doug Cox and Dr Michael Merriman have established a long and positive co-management relationship with many optometrists around the country. The co-management program was implemented in order to offer patients the convenience of consulting with optometrists in their local areas. Co-managing optometrists can carry out suitability assessments for laser surgery as well as postoperative care. The cost of assessments and postoperative visits (for up to 6 months) are covered by Bridgewater Laser Eye Surgery. For people residing outside the Hamilton region, contact Bridgewater Laser Eye Surgery to be referred to a co-managing optometrist in the appropriate area. After suitability has been confirmed with the local optometrist, it will be necessary to undergo a full consultation with the surgeon in Bridgewater Laser Eye Surgery’s, Hamilton clinic.
